Michelle & Jon – Married

Well, I haven’t blogged a wedding in a while, May has been silly busy and I’m looking forward to sharing all of the love-filled weddings I’ve photographed.

I’m thrilled to be finally blogging Michelle and Jon’s wedding, they got married back in March this year at a gorgeous chocolate box church in Ault Hucknall and then on to the fabulous Blackbrook House in Derbyshire for the rest of the day.

Michelle’s car of choice was a banana yellow Hackney taxi cab, which was brilliant, however the driver was in a bit of hurry to get her to the church and he was a bit heavy on the accelerator, went flying through a police trap and they got pulled over for speeding :-/ oops! But all was sorted and she got to the church sort of ish on time…!

I loved the purples and pinks theme they had for the day and lots of little details like Michelle’s ‘freshen up box’ meant all the guests were looked after. They also had a Bonkers Box in the evening and I’ll be posting the pictures from that soon!

A huge thanks to my second shooter on the day too, Hannah  Stevenson. She was fab Simon was also there, but shooting a supercool video for them, you can see this at the bottom of the post or have a look at his blog here.
